Supporting the American Spirit Tower Project:

The best way to support the development of the American Spirit Tower Project is to contact your local, city, state and Federal agencies and let them know what's on your mind (Mayor Bloomberg and Governor Pataki's web sites are just a click away).

Another great way is simply to spread the word. The more people that know about the project, the better are its chances to come to fruition.

If you would like to make a financial contribution, you can do so at:

American Spirit Tower Fund
401 Broadway, Suite 1712
New York, NY 10013

All funds go to cover expenses relating to the development
and promotion of the American Spirit Tower Project.

ListeningtotheCity.org

Listening to the City.org was established to allow for the general public to express its opinions regarding the redevelopment of the World Trade Center site.

In the process, LTTC has managed to make use of the internet and apply it to democratic government in a truly revolutionary manner. Their forum serves as a template for public projects in the 21st Century.

Lawrence Russo was genuinely inspired by the LTTC. It was through this forum that he formed a sense for what people were calling for on rebuilding the World Trade Center site.

The LMDC

The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation was created by Governor Pataki and former Mayor Guiliani in the aftermath of 9/11 to help guide the redevelopment of the WTC site. It was established as a central council to weigh the needs and desires of the public as well as those of all public and private agencies with interests in the WTC site. The ultimate goal being to redevelop the hallowed ground in a way that years from now can be looked back upon with solemn inspiration and pride.
